Just watched the movie "Transcendent Man".
Without spoiling too much it is a documentary about Ray Kurzweil (a futurist), and his ideas about a point when humans merge with machines, a point he calls "The Singularity." When we reach this point, the advance of technology will become so fast that we will have no choice but to merge with our technology to even hope to comprehend the data we receive from it.
